THE ROLE:
Remote - Full Time
We're looking for a Frontend Developer who can thrive in a remote startup environment, that will own the frontend development processes of our company. For this role, you must have experience in responsive web, ios and android frontend development. You will be working in close collaboration with design, product, and backend development teams and will develop our frontend processes along with our code.
If you do research on us and feel that you understand what Flipcause does at a high level, you have a passion for the nonprofit community, as well as technical perfection on the web environment, we'd love to connect with you and see if we’re a good fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with the Technology Director
Develop and own our frontend code
Collaborate with design, product and engineering teams to create the best frontend experience for our users
Stay on top of future front-end trends/tools and be a driver for adapting them
Be a power user in Jira/Confluence
Constantly improve our frontend development pipeline by creating smooth handoffs between design to frontend and frontend to backend teams
Manage the full cycle of frontend development from design to backend handoff
Conduct frontend acceptance of new projects/tasks by doing quality control on test and live environments after backend developer’s integration
Prepare and present frontend projects roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years of frontend development experience
Familiarity with Figma
Has a firm grasp of Html, CSS, Javascript code
Has worked on products and features, preferably on multiple platforms (Mobile and Desktop Web, Android, iOS)
Self-starter and autonomous executor
Analytical thinker and rigorous quality assurance advocate
Natural curiosity for causes and systems
Ability to balance the most immediate problems at hand and keeping a bird’s eye view of the overall strategy
A passion for technical challenges, online transactional systems, and genuine excitement for transforming nonprofits through technology
Background in development, design or a technical/science field is a plus
Knowledge about php code and full stack experience is a plus
