THE ROLE:
Remote - Full Time
We're looking for a Junior Product Designer who can thrive in a remote startup environment, is self-motivated, and can self-manage. For this role, you must have experience in product design, UX/UI, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications.
If you do research on us and feel that you understand what Flipcause does at a high level, you have a passion for the nonprofit community, and you are comfortable working on a fast-paced product team, then we'd love to connect with you to see if we’re a good fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with the Lead Product Designer
Establish a firm grasp of the Flipcause product
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in support of the development of design projects and product upgrades
Create designs based on our design systems, style guide, and the specifications/requirements outlined for product goals and expected outcomes
Support the Lead Product Designer in the development of our design components library in Figma
Support the Product Team with quick mockups for added product features
Work with the Frontend Developer to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
Work with the Product and Design Team in Jira to advance the product development process
Work with the Design Team to prepare and present weekly design updates
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of product and/or UX design experience in the design or software development industry
Experience creating prototypes for web and mobile applications
Attention to detail and pixel-perfection
Proficient with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Attentive to creating responsive designs that are compatible across platforms and screen sizes
Passion for design trends and best practices for user experience
Collaborative and open to feedback
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-starter and autonomous executor
Analytical thinker
Experience solving complex problems
A natural curiosity for understanding human behavior
Ability to seamlessly switch between solving the most immediate problems at hand and keeping a bird’s eye view of the overall strategy
A passion for product design and genuine excitement for transforming nonprofits through technology

$50,000 a year
