About the Role

The Finance & Operations Specialist will support the Head of FP&A to provide timely, accurate, and meaningful data that supports our business leaders.  The primary responsibilities of the position will be processing and recording of vendor invoices, payment approvals, administration of client contract execution, and billing/invoicing clients.  In your cover letter please state "Detailed Oriented". The ideal candidate must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the company, including the CEO and COO. The candidate must be able to maintain a high level of efficiency in a fast paced environment and be trusted with confidential information.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Handle the AR/AP process from front to back
• Establish best practices and document procedures as the business grows, changes, and expands 
• Review vendor invoices and client contracts for accuracy, seek proper approval and appropriate documentation prior to invoicing or issuing payment
• Work with the Sales and Client teams on contract execution, invoicing, and record keeping
• Monthly bank account and credit card reconciliation and expense monitoring 
• Provide detailed financial information on an ongoing basis to the Head of FP&A for the firm's P&L planning
• Distribution Partner attribution reporting to both internal and external parties
• Payroll processing and employee benefit administration
• New employee onboarding processing
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ad Hoc reporting and special projects as assigned.

• Understand AR/AP and general ledger systems
• Like to work in a fast paced environment with great people in an exciting new industry. 
• Have experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and/or Stripe
• Are highly proficient with Excel 
• Have strong analytical skills, with proven ability to analyze processes and suggest and implement continuous improvements
• Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes in a dynamic start-up environment
