Children's Choice Learning Center (CCLC) is a licensed early childhood program serving families through consistent care, structure, and strong teaching teams. We are seeking a reliable Early Childhood Support Educator (Floater) to join our center in a stable, scheduled role supporting daily classroom operations.
This is a hands-on support position in an active childcare environment. It is well suited for individuals who value routine, reliability, and being a steady presence for children and staff.
Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
This position requires dependable, on-time attendance and the ability to report to work consistently as scheduled.
As a Floater, you will move between classrooms as needed to support ratios, routines, and smooth transitions. You will assist lead teachers, engage directly with children, and help maintain order, cleanliness, and consistency throughout the day.
You are not expected to run a classroom independently, but you are expected to be competent, dependable, and ready to step in where support is needed.
Support classrooms as assigned and follow established routines
Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
Assist with transitions, supervision, and daily care routines
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Follow center schedules, policies, and procedures
Communicate professionally with staff and leadership
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards
Interact respectfully with families and children
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to take direction and support teaching teams
Professional communication and workplace behavior
Calm, patient, and respectful demeanor
Willingness to assist with day-to-day classroom needs
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with children preferred
Professional communication skills and sound judgment
CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
