Early Childhood Teacher / Floater (Infant, Toddler & Preschool) – $22–$23/hr

Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA Pay: $22–$23 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Role

The Learning Experience – Dedham is hiring a Certified Early Childhood Floater Teacher to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms. This is a perfect role for a versatile, experienced childcare or preschool teacher who enjoys working with different age groups and making an impact throughout the school.

You will play a key role in maintaining classroom quality, supporting ratio coverage, and ensuring consistent, high-quality early learning experiences.

What You’ll Do

Provide classroom support across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool rooms

Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and program flow

Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities

Support daily routines including meals, naps, transitions, and learning activities

Maintain safe, clean, and engaging classroom environments

Partner with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations

Follow all Massachusetts EEC health, safety, and licensing standards

Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC certification for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool required

Experience working in a licensed childcare, daycare, or preschool center

Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

CPR/First Aid preferred

Reliable, flexible, and confident working with multiple age groups
