About the Role:

Learn & Grow Child Development Center in New Haven, KY is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Floater/Support Staff member to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our classrooms and staff to ensure every child receives the best care and attention possible.

Responsibilities:

Float between classrooms to provide coverage and support to lead teachers as needed

Assist with supervision and engagement of children in daily activities and play

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Support staff during transitions, meals, nap time, and outdoor play

Follow all childcare policies, procedures, and licensing regulations

Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members

Assist with classroom preparation and age-appropriate learning activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field preferred

Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in multiple classroom settings

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must be reliable, flexible, and dependable

Ability to pass a background check as required by state licensing

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
