Floating Manager – Sales-Driven Operations Leader
Benefits:
Competitive salary
Health insurance
Paid time off
At Midas, our Floating Managers are impact players. This role is for a proven sales leader who can step into any location, take control of the counter, stabilize operations, lead teams, and drive immediate results.
If you thrive in high-accountability environments, enjoy fixing underperforming stores, and take pride in ownership and execution, this role is built for you.
This is not a support role.
This is a performance leadership role.
The Role
As a Floating Manager, you will move between locations as needed to drive sales performance, reinforce standards, and develop people. You’ll be trusted to lead from day one — setting expectations, coaching teams, and delivering measurable improvement.
You are the bridge between strategy and execution.
What You’ll Do
Own the counter wherever you go. Lead sales conversations, close work, and set the standard for customer communication.
Drive results fast. Improve ARO, service conversion, car count, and customer experience in assigned locations.
Stabilize and elevate stores. Step into underperforming or transitioning locations and restore structure, urgency, and accountability.
Lead teams. Coach Service Advisors and Technicians on process, performance, and professionalism.
Reinforce culture and standards. Ensure safety, cleanliness, compliance, and operational discipline.
Develop talent. Identify high-potential team members and help prepare future leaders.
Execute inspections and recommendations. Ensure vehicle inspections are thorough, accurate, and properly presented.
Support store leadership. Fill in during manager absences and assist with transitions, training, and onboarding.
Report and communicate. Track performance metrics and provide feedback to leadership.
