    Job Description

    PURPOSE

    The primary responsibility of the Kronos System Administrator will be to serve as the subject matter expert for the Workforce Central Application. Technical support and implementation, system administration, system integration and data governance are included in the functions of this position. The Kronos System Administrator serves as the point-of-contact for the HR, Payroll, Legal and field teams and is the functional subject matter expert for the Kronos Workforce Central application. Project management of add on modules (Attendance, Analytics, Geo-Fencing), End-User Access and Permissions and Reporting are included in the position’s responsibilities.  

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

    • Serve as “go-to” person for end user questions and problem solving.

    • Serves as primary point-of-contact for the HR, Payroll and Stores as the functional subject matter expert.

    • Provide support to Stores and Field Teams, HR and Payroll Departments, in researching and resolving system issues and exception handling.

    • Assesses processes and available tools and makes recommendations for development for improving efficiency and simplification.

    • Researches, formats and schedules exception reporting and creates ad hoc reports designed to simplify processes, improve efficiency and measure performance.

    • Instructs Stores, Field, Leadership Teams on exception reporting and tools created to improve ease and efficiency.

    • Develop training subject matter, update job aids and collaborate with Learning department to update instructional material.

    • Confirm system updates are communicated to the applicable personnel, incorporated into training material, and implemented.

    • Confirm all existing and newly released features supportive of F&D’s operation and business objectives are understood and effectively utilized.

    • Experience in identifying data useful in developing performance reporting and predictive analytics.

    • Liaison between HR/Legal/Store Operations/Field and IT on business requirements.

    • Test and validate configuration within the Kronos application.

    • Maintain integration between OPUS (labor standards) & Kronos

    • General maintenance of Kronos application from adding new stores, cost centers, job codes.

     

    MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Basic understanding of time and labor laws

    • Strong communication skills

    • Sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

    • Proficiency in reporting metrics/data analytics.

    • Minimum 3 years related experience in one or more areas of Workforce Management, Project Management or Training.

    • High degree of technical expertise (at least 3 years) in the Kronos Workforce Ready/or Workforce Central application.

    • Minimum 3 years and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

    • Education: Degree preferred not required

    • Expertise in report authoring

    • Experience with Kronos Advanced Scheduling a plus.

    Physical/Sensory Requirements

    Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
