Role and Responsibilities
The Service Specialist top priority is to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is done by being responsible for the accountability of FIS warehouse inventory through properly pulling orders using forklift vehicle and stacking deliveries by specification, inventory reporting, cycle counting, date checks, shortage report research, handling drivers returns, quality control issues and conducting physical inventories. This position will interact with our installers daily ensuring their product is loaded quickly and safely.
Role and Responsibilities
Be Accountable as a Team member by understanding, reviewing, and positively impacting specific standards set daily.
Conducts daily cycle counts and reconciliation of pad inventory
Maintains physical inventory quantities and validate against perpetual
Lead in taking quarterly physical inventories
Conducts Primary/Overstock slot verification
Conducts date list checks daily
Prepares and coordinate vendor returns
Verifies dates and product quality are highest quality standard
Pulls and preps correct items and quantities of product for customer orders
Verifies shelf life of products is within specifications
Tags items with proper labels
Stacks pallets properly
Properly records any product damages
Ensures product is packaged properly when transferring
Maintains work environment
Build relationship with installers
Additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum High School graduate
Critical and independent problem solving
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and able to work in cold or hot environments for an extended period of time
Communicate professionally and effectively in both written and verbal form
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and professional ethics
Working Conditions
Work is primarily indoors and Monday through Friday, however customer issues may cause deviations from the norm. Sitting, standing, lifting is to be expected. Busy environment with multiple interruptions.
