Floor Manager – Health Clinic

Location: Williamsburg, NY (On-site, Full Time)
Salary: $120,000–$150,000
Yiddish Speaking Preferred

Description

A busy heimishe health clinic in Brooklyn is looking for a Floor Manager to take charge of the front and back end of the department. We need someone responsible, organized, and comfortable running the floor, keeping things moving smoothly, and making sure patients are taken care of with proper respect.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to stay calm, give clear direction, and handle situations as they come up. Managerial skills are a must.
Experience in healthcare is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the “balebus” on the floor — making sure everything runs on time
• Oversee patient flow so no one is waiting unnecessarily
• Make sure rooms, chairs, and providers are ready and moving efficiently
• Handle any questions, issues, or tzoros that come up with patients or staff
• Work closely with the front desk on check-in, check-out, and paperwork
• Guide staff with reminders, direction, and proper standards
• Keep daily notes and updates for management so everyone stays on the same page

Qualifications & Must-Haves

• Yiddish speaking preferred
• Strong people-management skills — able to give direction respectfully and clearly
• Organized, steady, and able to juggle a busy environment
• Comfortable speaking with patients and staff in a warm, professional way
• Experience in a clinic or medical setting is a big plus
• Able to work some Sundays or longer hours when needed
