    Job Description

    Headquartered in San Diego, CA, FLOORET is a young and design-forward eCommerce flooring company serving both residential and commercial customers. With an eye on building a larger eCommerce footprint to continue to disrupt the traditional mold for how floors are sold, we are looking for a driven, customer service oriented person is to join our inside sales team.     • Due to COVID-19, all interviews and training will be done remotely and working from home is expected during the course of the pandemic. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direct supervision, you will act as a customer service/sales representative for inbound leads, as well as support our Trade partners. This means providing customer service, support, tracking common concerns, and implementing sales techniques. You will not be expected to be an expert on flooring at the time of hiring, but should be excited to learn and able to answer all questions within 3 months. We pride ourselves on our exceptional sales support and technical expertise for our customers and you should fit well into that role. Compensation for the Sales Representative role is a mixture of base salary and potential bonuses.
    • Provides customer service, sales and technical flooring expertise (you will be trained on this expertise) via chat, telephone, or email, including assisting with customer inquiries on product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges requiring a working knowledge of company products, procedures and practices.
    • Follows up on calls and emails to customers who had ordered flooring samples to answer any questions they may have and to inspire a purchase.
    • Actively engages in selling company products/services and related items.
    • Enters orders into computer system and coordinates with shipping department for certain orders on delivery schedule.
    • Handles and resolves simple customer complaints and forwards more complex issues to senior staff for resolution.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Internet/digital background/tech savvy
    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be relationship oriented and put a high value on customer service
    • Excellent references from Managers to whom you have reported to
    • One year sales or customer service related experience
    • Must be local and able to work from the office
    • Start-up experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
