What You’ll Do: As a Measure Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact in a customer’s home, setting the tone for an exceptional flooring experience. You’ll use your attention to detail and technical knowledge to gather precise measurements, assess installation conditions, and help guide the project toward a smooth and successful outcome. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Provide a respectful, professional presence in customers’ homes and businesses. • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal teams. • Extend service by identifying additional opportunities to meet customer needs. • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical plans with confidence. • Accurately assess surfaces, subfloors, and site conditions (e.g., moisture, unevenness). • Understand and apply material specs, coverage rates, and waste factors. • Visualize how different flooring elements will fit and flow within a space. • Perform precise calculations based on measurements and layouts. • Learn and use measurement and planning software applications efficiently. • Drive company vehicles safely and respectfully, with a clean driving record.
