Flooring Sales Associate

Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Hourly + Commission (Uncapped) Industry: Flooring / Home Improvement / Retail Sales

Position Overview

We are a well-established local flooring company seeking a motivated Flooring Sales Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role is primarily showroom-based with occasional in-home visits for measurements and project coordination.

If you have a passion for sales, an eye for design, and a strong understanding of flooring products, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, customer-first business.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom

Guide clients through product selection (carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.)

Visit homes for measurements and install preparation

Generate detailed quotes and follow up with leads

Build lasting relationships with retail customers, property managers, and commercial clients

Maintain product knowledge and showroom presentation

Coordinate with installation teams and vendors

Track all leads, quotes, and communications through CRM system

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of flooring sales experience (retail, property management, or commercial)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, quoting tools)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Comfortable conducting in-home visits for estimates
