    Join Our Wausau Team as a Flooring Sales Professional! Are you a customer-focused sales professional with a background in flooring, construction, or home improvement? We're looking for a motivated team member to help our customers find the perfect flooring solutions while driving sales through exceptional service and product expertise. As part of our Wausau team, you’ll: • Guide customers through flooring selections based on their needs and style • Use your industry knowledge to recommend the best products and services • Help achieve and exceed store sales goals • Ensure every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their purchase What We’re Looking For: • 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in flooring, construction, or a related field • A passion for helping customers and a knack for building relationships • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • A results-driven mindset with attention to detail Schedule: Store hours are Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM and Saturday 9 AM–3 PM. Your schedule will include a rotation of opening/closing shifts and Saturday coverage. Responsibilities: • Negotiate and close sales deals while following company pricing and profitability guidelines • Develop and nurture meaningful connections with clients, old and new, to boost retention rates and sales • Collaborate with internal teams, such as installation and customer service, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction • Have a high level of awareness of market developments, product releases, and competitors • Identify and prospect potential customers Qualifications: • Applicant must have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills • Have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); a Bachelor’s preferred • Proficient use of sales tools, including customer relationship management (CRM) • Preferred: 3 years of sales experience Compensation: $70,000 on target earnings
