We are seeking a highly motivated Flooring Sales Representative that will utilize industry knowledge to run a high volume of client leads and generate sales for our in-home consultation program. In this customer service business, the Sales Rep position will require a personalized approach; with a focus on customer education and building rapport. A positive attitude, with an innate ability to problem solve, will be necessary for success. Flooring knowledge is an integral component of this position, and computer confidence is essential. Essential Functions:
Greet clients and provide excellent customer service
Friendly and enthusiastic; ability to establish rapport with people quickly and easily
Excellent listener and communicator; both written and verbal
Possesses a design eye
Desire to continually accumulate knowledge of flooring products, services, and industry trends
Effectively navigate sales conversations
Generates leads, builds relationships, and closes deals
Confident user of computer systems Excel, Mic Word and excellent Email communication is essential
Ability to make professional decisions and take responsibility for those decisions

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Positive attitude
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motorized vehicle
Ability to lift flooring samples and move flooring sample displays (5-50lbs)
Must work some evenings and weekends to accomodate clients schedules for in-home consultations.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the floor covering industry
Sales experience
