    About the Company:

    Developer/Builder of Luxury Multi-family and mixed-use rental projects. Hires by region so relocation and travel are optional, not required. Florida-based for over 30 years.

    Job Overview:

    The Project Engineer will work directly under the Project Manager to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner. The Project Engineer is responsible for estimate timelines and schedules, handling risks and costs related to the technical aspects of the project, bid analysis, and permit processing.

    The Project Engineer must have a minimum of three plus (3+) years experience. Experience with multi-family projects a plus. Duties include reviewing on-site work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications through quality control inspections, preparing construction schedules with the help of the Project Manager and update schedules on a weekly basis, and assisting the Project Manager with bidding on new projects and preparing a standard big buy program for the analysis of bids.

    We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong initiative and an ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of constituents. Proven capabilities in multi-tasking, problem-solving, and prioritizing workloads are required to perform this job. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Timberline and/or Primavera Expedition is required to perform this job efficiently.

    To develop the technical and leadership skills going from PE to APM(after completing a full project) to then be able to be the Project Manager(with proven ability to take the lead) mentoring other PE and APMs within the company.
