Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Responsibilities: • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action Qualifications: • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred • Minimum of three years experience in family law • Minimum of three years of Trial experience • Admitted to the Florida Bar • Ability to work without much supervision • Desire to be the best Compensation: $130,000 - $157,000 yearly
