ABOUT THE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT INTERN POSITION
We are looking for a Warehouse Intern to learn the warehouse methods/systems and help keep our Doral-based warehouse running like a well-oiled machine. The ideal candidate already has some knowledge of working in a warehouse environment and is looking to develop a career with a rapidly expanding company with high interest in becoming a Warehouse Assistant, Associate, or Manager. You are someone who is determined to improve processes, maximize efficiency, and gain the certifications needed for the job.
This is a part-time, hourly employee position, and you will be evaluated based on your ability to learn and apply Warehouse Management systems and techniques, and perform well in a fast-paced team-oriented workplace on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, store, package, palletize, and label shipments
- Operate forklift in a safe and secure manner
- Load and unload materials to and from vehicles
- Inspect materials and document damage and excessive wear
- Enter data in inventory management software
- Report any inventory discrepancies and suspected security breaches immediately
- Make the warehouse your own and innovate ways to improve warehouse efficiency and savings
- Additional warehouse duties as assigned
- When necessary, light janitorial duties and repairs to common spaces
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
- 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse and managing inventory
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Team player with organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication (English; bilingual in Spanish preferred)
- Availability for 90 day internship period
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Starting pay at $12-15/hr based on experience
- Evaluation at end of internship with the potential for full-time offer
