    Research Operations Manager

    The Operations Manager is responsible for keeping track of the big picture and identifying potential areas of improvement. The Operations Manager performs a critical oversight function for our company. The OM monitors operations throughout the company and looks for ways to increase productivity and lower costs. This person will often be in direct contact with other Leadership within the company, working with them to create policies to improve workflows, motivate employees, and minimize points of friction.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Assesses and analyzes departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits· Identifies potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue· Supervises the maintenance of clinical procedures manual in compliance with ICH GCP and the ethical principles outlined in the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki-ALCOA· Oversee the EDC process for accuracy, completeness and timeliness of research data and open queries and IVRS· Oversees Clinical Conductor Financial and visit queries · Management of all trial contracts, budget(s), revisions, and maintenance of all accounts with FDHS Controller· Oversees for all Florida Research Institute FibroScan® workflow & activities· Identifies opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market· Responsible for the development and management of the Patient Liaison Recruitment Team· Responsible for Clinic workflow protocol and processes · Responsible for providing the CAD with business intelligence on FibroScans®, Screens and Spoke data· Responsible for the oversight of all Florida Research Institute policy and protocol manuals· Oversees all Florida Research Institute advertising - including trial advertising and social media marketing• Regulatory back up to regulatory specialist

    • Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned as needed

    Skills and Qualifications

    · Big picture thinking skills to address top-level concerns and find the best path forward from all of the available data· A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles so they can assess the company's earnings and spending to find areas for improvement· Demonstrated excellent written, oral, communication, presentation, planning and interpersonal skills.· Ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly· Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which is essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite· Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Well-developed organizational and analytical skills· Critical thinker and problem solver

    Education, Experience & Knowledge

    BS Degree – Bachelor’s Degree

    Medical experience desired

    Clinical research experience desired

    Management / leadership role experience required
