CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Research Operations Manager (ROM)

Provide a strong day-to-day, onsite Clinic leadership presence in a critical role that works in conjunction with Site Director and leadership team, with responsibility for Clinic operations including medical clinic services, reception and support services, clinical data and facility management to meet mission and vision of organization.

Promote a positive team approach to ensure delivery of high quality, subject care, sponsor satisfaction and improved research outcomes are the primary goals.

Utilize effective project management approaches, implementing tools appropriate to the health clinic setting to improve operational efficiency and cost controls, including the practice method used to provide patient care.

Direct involvement in developing operational policies and procedures in close collaboration with the Site Director and Leadership Team. Assists with deliverables and reporting.

Actively participate in the compliance, safety and risk programs within the organization.

The ROM is responsible for staff leadership, operational effectiveness, customer service, quality assurance, strategic planning, and financial management of the group.

Coaches and develops employees to maximize business outcomes.

Demonstrates proven leadership with practice operations, development of highly effective teams, self-direction, initiative, interpersonal and communication skills.

Education, Experience & Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree

Management / leadership role experience required

Clinical research experience strongly desired

Medical terminology knowledge preferred
