Position Summary
The Associate Director, Office of the Executive Director works closely with the Chief of Staff (COS), senior leadership and additional staff as appropriate. In this key role, the AD advances the management and direction of executive-level activities, functions, and PCORI-wide initiatives under the guidance of the COS and liaises with key internal peers and stakeholders to implement executive vision. The AD ensures operational efficiency and effectiveness within the OED, serves as a trusted adviser to the COS and represents executive leadership in delegated projects and initiatives designed to achieve PCORI’s priorities and strategic initiatives. The AD directly supports PCORI’s mission, goals, activities, and culture through planning, directing, and ensuring that priorities and plans are executed and supported through the business management, administrative, and programmatic functions of the Institute.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $135,616 - $169,520
The above range represents the salary or hourly pay range expected for the position; however, final offers are based on several factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may participate in PCORI-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.
