    Master Tattoo Artist / Instructor Florida Tattoo Academy is looking for an experienced tattoo artist to teach classes at one of our locations in Palm Harbor or Orlando. On average, our tattoo courses range from 4 to 8 students and they cover everything necessary for new artists to get started tattooing, with a heavy focus on sanitization and how to get started in the industry. Classes are 200-hours and last 11 weeks. The primary responsibilities of the instructor include supervising students who perform tattoos on human skin and teaching tattooing techniques. We are looking for teachers who will be willing to instruct on days, nights, and/or weekends. Full-time and part-time instructing positions are available in both locations! Responsibilities: • An ideal tattoo instructor would have at least 10 to 15 years of tattoo experience, an amazing tattoo and art portfolio, and have successfully apprenticed multiple tattoo artists during their career • Our curriculum has been approved by the State of Florida that we follow in our classes Qualifications: • Basic computer/tech skills for grading students • Engaging and entertaining personality • Marketing and business skills are not required, but a bonus • Tattoo shop management experience is not required, but a bonus • Professional art portfolio and tattoo portfolio • Passion for art and education • 7 years+ of tattoo shop experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $600 - $1,000 Weekly
