Florida Tattoo Academy is looking for an experienced tattoo artist with excellent written and verbal skills. This artist would be in charge of teaching in-person classes at our Tarpon Springs campus. An average tattoo class size is 4 to 8 students and the classes cover everything necessary for new artists to get started tattooing. Classes are 200 hours and last 11 weeks. The classes include supervising students who perform tattoos on human skin. We need teachers for our days, night, and weekend courses. Both full-time and part-time options are available.  This opportunity is perfect for: • Retired tattoo artists who still want to give back to the community and help new artists start a career • Successful artists looking for a way to add more income to their career Responsibilities: • An Ideal candidate would have at least 10 to 15 years of tattoo experience, an amazing art portfolio, and have successfully apprenticed multiple tattoo artists.  • We are looking for tattoo artists to engage students at a high level.  • We have a detailed curriculum and program that has been approved by the state of Florida that we follow in our classes.  • An ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and deep caring for helping create successful tattoo artists. Qualifications: • Professional art portfolio • 7 years+ tattoo experience • Strong written and verbal communications • Engaging and entertaining • Intelligent and can think on feet • Strong passion for tattoos • An interest in developing artists Compensation: $500 to $1000 per week
