    Florida’s Decorators Warehousing & Delivery was founded in 1997 to receive, inspect, store, and deliver furniture on behalf of nationally renowned interior designers. Additionally, we provide full-service warehousing for contractors, manufacturers, schools, hotels, restaurants and more. We have grown exponentially over our founding 27 years ago and are looking for ambitious and professional self-starters interested in Florida’s booming warehouse and logistics market. Warehouse storage and distribution is one of the fastest growing businesses in the country and certainly in Southwest Florida. Given the nature of our business, our customers (and our staff) expect only the BEST in customer service! We seek candidates with a commitment to customer service and an appreciation for the challenges and variety found in the position.

    Pay is $19.00 and a guaranteed end-of-year bonus. Typical start and end times are 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer health and dental insurance paid at 75% after 90 days of continuous employment together with a one-week paid vacation after one year of continuous employment and a two-week paid vacation after 5 years of continuous employment.

    You must have experience using a narrow aisle forklift, pulling and putting away items while maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment and the ability to work while using a safety harness at a height of 18 feet or less.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    The use of a narrow aisle forklift to move and organize goods within the warehouse; The picking of furniture and boxes from warehouse racks; Assisting in the unloading and loading of trucks at our loading dock;

    Assisting with the inspection of furniture and accessories to ascertain freight;

    Protect furniture using pad wrapping or other protection and/or repacking of boxes; Assisting in the receiving and processing incoming furniture, stock and other materials; The use of an iPad to scan barcodes and work orders; The breaking down of cardboard boxes and the loading of same into a compactor; and The moving of furniture in and around the warehouse in adherence to safety procedures and other protocol.
