Flour Bakery is now hiring a Full Time Driver/Shift Lead to be based out of our production kitchen in the Seaport of Boston!!
We are seeking self-motivated leaders who thrive working in a fun and positive environment, and who feel confident driving the streets of Boston and Cambridge. The LDSL helps to lead the team of drivers and receivers for Flour. The LDSL reports to the LDC and BK General Manager. The objective of the LDSL is to help facilitate the goals of the LDC, give superior service to our catering guests and uphold Flour’s standard of hospitality
Day-to-Day Performance Expectations:
Lead the Flour internal drivers and receivers day-to-day activities through modelling and coaching.
Train new drivers and receivers as needed.
Active monitoring of all health code standards including temp logs, cleanliness of vehicles, and food handling awareness of the team.
Improve and reinforce driving/receiving schedules, systems and standards.
Attend daily and weekly meetings with the LDC
Represent Flour to guests on large deliveries as a model of Flour hospitality
Maintain proper invoicing for bakery locations as well as proper coding of BK invoices.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance on all Flour vehicles as needed.
Monitor that all deliveries are meeting local health department criteria (logs, temps, careful handling)
Distribute drivers notes daily.
Help with bakery ordering, receiving and support of drivers.
Assist with ecommerce orders.
Assist with catering deliveries/logistics as needed including but not limited to large orders and events
Support catering driving staff as needed
Assist in Verifying completion of checklists

LDSL – Will be required to fill in driving or receiving and will be scheduled in “support” position most days.

Compensation: The starting wage for this position is $20 per hour.
