Job Description

The Courier Driver is responsible for collecting and delivering clinical specimens and supplies. You must be able to lift 50 pounds. You must be willing to be able to drive for a few hours at a time. You will be required to make multiple trips around Los Angeles and surrounding cities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Pick up or delivery of time sensitive samples from client locations. Position requires driving for various lengths of time in and around Los Angeles. Evening and weekend work is required. Maintain written log of daily activity. Ensure vehicle service/basic maintenance is kept up. Additional tasks as needed per manager, based on the business needs.

Education and Experience

• 1-2 years as a courier driver or experience is a plus.

• Basic to intermediate experience using Windows operating system and Microsoft software applications is required

• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must be good with directions/using GPS

• Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks/deliveries

• Must be good with directions

• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions.

• Can present oneself in a highly cooperative and professional
