    ABOUT US…

    Flying Embers was founded with the mission to make drinking healthier. Started in in 2017 by Bill Moses, the founder of Kevita. Flying Embers is a better for you beverage platform with our first product line being a Hard Kombucha (4.5%+ abv). We will also be releasing a line of Probiotic Beers and other fermented beverages in 2019.

    We launched in LA this summer and have grown all throughout Southern California, but the best is yet to come.

    OUR NEXT STEP IS GROWING OUR BRAND IN THE BAY AREA OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

    We are now looking for a Bay Area Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing the business of Flying Embers in the Bay Area with the emphasis on San Francisco, East Bay and South Bay all while having too much FUN! The Sales Representative will act as ambassador of our brand and support our mantra of “Making Drinking Healthier”. The Sales Rep will be responsible for executing our go to market strategy, achieving sales targets and growth goals, promoting and educating the masses on our brand all while maintaining a positive and fun attitude in order to make Flying Embers the first choice for the SF Bay Area health minded community.

    Passion and personal integrity are a must.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create and maintain positive consultative relationships with key decision makers or decision influencers in accounts.
    • Achieve sales growth at on premise, off premise, and specialty accounts.
    • Develop new accounts and placements.
    • Follow up at accounts to ensure our beers are properly labeled, represented, stored and served to our standards.
    • Partner and collaborate with our Distribution partners to grow our distribution.
    • Identify key/major accounts and implement our sales strategies to establish business in those accounts
    • Develop, manage, and execute marketing and brand awareness programs to support placements, including promotions, food pairings, tastings, merchandising, POS, and special events.
    • Conduct education and training on our products and brand with distributors, accounts and customers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    • 1+ years of proven results oriented sales experience; beverage industry experience highly preferred.
    • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required; four-year college degree preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Passion for craft alcohol, Kombucha and general knowledge and understanding of different beer styles
    • Strong communication and selling skills
    • Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism with a customer service focus
    • Good time management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Good computer and phone skills with the ability to complete administrative work as associated with the job
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Availability to work a flexible full time schedule with evenings and weekend work

    OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

    • Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age
    • Must own a car and be willing to use it for work around the bay (gas paid)
    • Must have a good driving record and have a reliable registered, insured personal vehicle and ability to drive
    • Ability to lift and move cases of beer (approximately 25 lbs) as well as lift/move 50 pound kegs; ability to handle and use a dolly for higher weight kegs.
