    Intern Flywheel Coworking - Davidson, NC Full-time, Part-time, Internship Job Description: Intern Flywheel Coworking 210 Delburg St Davidson, NC www.flywheelcoworking.com Hours: Vary Core hours are 8:30AM-5:30PM plus events Flywheel is building a network of coworking innovation spaces and this position is for its new location in Davidson NC, a collaboration with Davidson College. The mission of Flywheel is support, grow and energize a membership-based community of entrepreneurs and startup companies. Flywheel executes this mission with passion for member experience, providing an inspiring workspace, great amenities, and supporting community meetings, focused programs and events. These events are provided by the Flywheel Foundation, New Ventures, Flywheel Members and many Community Partners. The Intern position embodies the mission and passion of Flywheel with a daily focus on quality member / guest experience. The intern is responsible for greeting and assisting prospective members, guests and walk-ins and ensuring their comfort in the space, as well as fielding member needs and relations. The Intern should maintain the organization and cleanliness of the workspace including restocking kitchen snacks, beverages, brewing coffee, keeping the dishes orderly, providing support to Flywheels members, as well as the Community Manager, and other administrative tasks as needed related to managing the space, the amenities, and the membership. The intern reports directly to the Community Manager and is responsible for weekly inventory, office supplies, social media scheduling, and assist with the events. All interns, paid or unpaid, report to the Community Manager. In addition, the intern will work closely with Community Manager and the staff of the Hurt Hub @ Davidson and other university staff to ensure seamless coordination between the connecting spaces and programs. The intern position requires flexibility in planning and in work hours. Responsibilities * Engage with and assist Flywheel members, prospective members, and walk-in guests * Be ready to provide tours of the space and answer questions about the coworking concept and Flywheels memberships * Act as a liaison between members and Community Manager, ensuring that any questions or requests are addressed in a timely manner * Assist with the planning and execution of meetings and events including setup and breakdown * Provide support to members; be willing to assist with their entrepreneurial tasks and projects * Other administrative tasks for Flywheel, relating to managing the space, amenities and memberships * Maintain the organization and cleanliness of Flywheel and its public areas * Assist with marketing, social media posting, campaign creation under supervision * Update and maintain member wall profiles as new members join * Additional duties as needed * Requirements A successful Intern enjoys working with a team aligned with Flywheels mission and passion: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Energetic demeanor, outgoing personality, positive attitude * Ability to adjust quickly to change, ability to take direction * Strong work ethic, both independently and as a member of a team * Willingness to pitch in wherever needed with Flywheel team, as well as with members * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Flexible schedule preferred Physical Demands * Subject to normal inside office conditions * Frequently required to walk, stand, sit and use hands * Work on computer requires ability to use keyboard * Occasionally required to reach with arms, carry/lift up to 20 pounds, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch * NOTE: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Requirements/Qualifications
