The JOB: Maintain and support sophisticated and reliable IP inter-networking solutions in an existing production multi-vendor ISP environment Act as a liaison with our Network Operations team Craft and implement procedures, education, and training to ensure continuous improvement.o Emphasis on quality contribution to a comprehensive knowledge base. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve telecommunications issues, with a focus on OSI layers 1-4 Plan and assist with scheduled network maintenance activities. Develop proactive strategies and planning to identify and avert issues before they arise.

The CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate will have: Technical fluency of IPv4 subnetting, particularly CIDR. Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree protocols. Proven communication skills (both spoken and written) and ability to communicate in difficult circumstances. Certification equivalency to CCNA or higher Competence with the following platforms:o Ubiquitio Ciscoo MikroTiko Fortinet The ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment A high school diploma (or equivalent)o Higher education preferred.
