92-year-old female requires round-the-clock caregivers in private home, central Tucson. Wage $15/hr. We schedule (3) eight hour shifts each day : midnight to 8 am, 8am to 4pm and 4pm to midnight. We currently are hiring and preference will go to candidates with CNA training and/or three+ years of hands-on caregiving for seniors.

Due to increased COVID-19 presence in our county, we will not hire private caregivers who have other jobs or duties that routinely take them to hospitals, nursing homes, or skilled nursing facilities.
Adult children are involved with client’s well-being and are often visitors. Client requires transfer assistance from bed to chair to toilet; very limited mobility, can bear some weight. A typical shift would include companionship, cooking meals, light housework, taking blood pressure and O2 readings, dispensing Rx and OTC medications, periodic sponge baths, light laundry, assist with toileting and (un)dressing, write detailed progress reports, interface with other caregivers at beginning and end of each shift, answer phone, ensure the safety of client, and participate with any activities recommended by doctors or therapists.
This is a no-smoking home, both inside and out. Quiet environment. Caregivers bring their own meals. No television, ear buds, music, excessive texting, personal phone calls, or social media on the job. Payroll twice a month with auto deposit. Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screen prior to final job offer. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, yet mild mannered; a team player; and will respect the client’s need for confidentiality.
