Folino Construction is looking for a new team member for our Estimating Department!

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely quantity take-offs

• Generate comprehensive and competitive estimates, both in the public and private sector

• Concrete estimates will include but not be limited to : Curbs • Sidewalks • Foundations • Flatwork • Structural Concrete

• Develop and maintain existing relationships with General Contractors and clients

• Coordinate with subcontractors and develop relationships pertinent to the position

• Create and maintain organized estimate files

• Work in conjunction with Project Managers and other Estimators

Qualifications & Abilities: • 4 year Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry preferred, but not required

• 7+ years construction experience preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Team-Oriented

• Advanced computer skills with Estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid and Planswift preferred, but not required )

• Extensive knowledge and experience reading and analyzing Concrete Construction Drawings

• Effective Presentation Skills

• Knowledge of concrete material and form work

• Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
