** Fonon Corporation designs and manufactures high-tech fiber laser and CO2 marking, cutting and engraving systems for the industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, electronics, defense, semiconductor and flat panel display industries around the world. As a part of its product offering, Fonon is developing a family of Industrial Additive Manufacturing equipment for major markets, Medical Device and Implants, Aero Space, Military and Defense applications.**

Summary:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining general ledger transactions in accordance with GAAP. This position provides support in creating and maintaining integrity in the company’s financial statements

What You'll Do

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in financial analysis and decision-making processes.

What You’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting required
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
