    The Finn Cashier Qualities:

    CASH HANDLING AND REGISTER OPERATION: Accurately process orders, accept payments, and provide customers with receipts. Attention to detail and strong math skills will help you ensure that all transactions are handled correctly, providing our guests with a seamless and pleasant checkout experience.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide outstanding customer services. Be able to take orders at the counter, answering questions, and/or assisting with special requests. Cashier should have a friendly and helpful demeanor that contributes to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere

    CLEANING AND SANITIZING: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of our customers and team members. Will be responsible for regularly cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the front of house. By following the established cleaning procedures and utilizing appropriate cleaning products.

    COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are vital. Cashiers are the first face our guests and cooks interact with daily. They need to be able to communicate clearly and confidently, whether they are taking orders, addressing customer inquiries or collaborating with fellow team members.

    Demonstrate a friendly and helpful attitude at all times.

    ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT: The ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. Adaptability, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks are all important qualities.

    The Finn Cashier Responsibilities:

    Reports to: Sous Chef/Culinary Director

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in food running and expo

    Handle payments/transaction accurately and responsibly

    Greet and assist customers with purchases or inquiries

    Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and to-go disposables

    Issue receipts, refunds or exchanges as needed

    Assist with the cleanliness of tables at The Finn during downtimes

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively

    Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service

    Willingness to work well in a team environment

    Ability to quickly and accurately work a register

    Willingness to work a flexible schedule
