Responsible for packaging appropriate quantities of food to meet menu and recipe requirements. Maintain high standards of quality and food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
Daily responsibilities and duties:
Call supervisor to check on task for the day
Keep work areas clean
Packaging and labeling food
Putting away truck deliveries
Preparation of a wide variety of menu items according to prescribed recipes.
Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods.
Ability to understand and implement food preparation and safety instructions.
Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures
Ability to safely operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools
Works closely with all Residents and staff members and vendors.
Wear proper clothing and shoes for work, along with name tag
Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
· Ability to maintain a sanitary environment and comply with safety standards.
· Must be able to move quickly and lift, push & pull 50+
· Must have valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
· CPR/First Aid
· Two step TB
· 2 Reference Checks
· Food Handlers
· Background check
