    Mini Kabob is seeking a highly organized, hospitality-driven Food Service & Expo team member to help oversee guest experience, order accuracy, pickup flow, and front-of-house organization during high-volume service.

    We are a family-owned Armenian restaurant established in 1987 and recognized by the LA Times Top 101, New York Times Top 50, and Michelin Guide. We are known for open-fire grilled meats, scratch-made recipes, high-quality ingredients, and operating at an extremely high level inside a small, fast-moving restaurant environment.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly under pressure, and takes pride in creating a polished guest experience while supporting both the front and back of house.

    The right candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accuracy and professionalism during busy service periods.

    Responsibilities

    Greet guests and provide exceptional hospitality

    Assist first-time customers with menu navigation and recommendations

    Manage pickup flow, online orders, and guest handoff process

    Verify all orders for accuracy before they leave the restaurant

    Check sauces, modifications, labels, packaging, and order completeness

    Coordinate communication between the front counter and kitchen

    Manage delivery driver flow and order staging

    Monitor wait times and proactively communicate delays

    Maintain organization and cleanliness of front counter and pickup areas

    Restock beverages, sauces, utensils, labels, and packaging supplies

    Identify and correct missing items before orders leave the restaurant

    Assist with catering order staging and large family orders

    Support service flow during high-volume rush periods

    Help resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently

    Answer phones and assist with catering inquiries when needed

    Support the overall success of the team wherever necessary

    Qualifications

    Previous restaurant, hospitality, customer service, expo, or counter-service experience preferred

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy

    Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure

    Strong sense of urgency and ownership

    Positive, team-oriented attitude

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

    Reliable, punctual, and professional

    Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service periods

    Compensation

    Base wage: $16.90/hr with guaranteed total earnings: approximately $20–22/hr with tip makeup
