Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Food Expeditor (Expo) to act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will ensure food orders are prepared correctly, assembled efficiently, and delivered to guests in a timely manner. This role is critical in maintaining food quality, presentation, and service standards.
Responsibilities:
Act as the communication bridge between kitchen staff and servers
Check each dish for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and portion size before sending it to the customer
Coordinate ticket times to ensure all items in an order are ready at the same time
Ensure garnishes and finishing touches are added as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and window
Communicate special requests or allergies to the kitchen staff
Work with servers to ensure prompt service and resolve any order issues quickly
Assist in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
Hourly plus credit card tips. Thursday thru Sunday. Occasional Mondays.
