We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Production Cook to join our team. In this role, you will support the Production Manager and help execute daily food manufacturing tasks, including kettle operation, batch preparation, and sanitation procedures. This position requires physical stamina, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Production Manager in daily operational needs.
Empty kettles following overnight bone broth production; refill kettles with fresh bones at the end of each day.
Roast Bones in the Oven
Occasionally operate multiple kettles simultaneously to produce soups,stocks, broths,
Lift and handle 40 lb boxes of bones and ingredients; perform roasting, sheeting, and general prep tasks.
Ensure proper, respectful handling of all food products.
Follow all food safety guidelines; ServSafe certification preferred.
Work comfortably in hot, wet production environments with food contact surfaces.
Qualifications
Experience in food production, culinary work, or a similar field preferred.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
Knowledge of food safety practices; ServSafe certification is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
