Their primary goal is to ensure efficient operations and the production of high-quality food products while adhering to food safety regulations and meeting production targets.     Responsibilities:

    Planning and organizing production schedules to meet forecasted demand and production targets.

    Developing and implementing production strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.

    Managing and supervising production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

    Monitoring and controlling production costs to achieve budget targets.

    Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

    Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and procurement, to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues.

    Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

    Maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

    Monitoring and analyzing production performance metrics, such as yield, efficiency, and downtime, to identify areas for improvement.

    Managing inventory levels and coordinating raw material procurement to maintain uninterrupted production.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred for some positions.

    Extensive experience in food production or manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing production operations.

    In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.

    Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.

    Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

    Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment used in the food industry.

    Proficiency in using computer systems and software for production planning and analysis.
