Job Description

This is not your typical courier role. As a Contract-based Food Rocket Courier (1099), YOU WILL EARN A MINIMUM HOURLY RATE– even if you do not receive an order during that time. YOU WILL ALSO BE RECEIVING GROCERY ORDERS OUT OF OUR OWN LOCATIONS. If you want to earn more during the week, you can earn various bonuses by meeting delivery targets that will allow you to EARN UP TO $25 PER HOUR. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the ability to create your own schedule by picking up delivery shifts that are available within any of our dark stores in the city.

PAY STRUCTURE

The hourly minimum pay is $17 per hour regardless of deliveries. In addition to that, we will be using the following weekly payout structure to calculate a weekly bonus: 

<10 deliveries = $2 / delivery 

10-20 deliveries = $2.25 / delivery 

21-60 deliveries = $2.50 / delivery 

61+ deliveries = $3.00 / delivery 

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older to work with Food Rocket.
• Must have an active and valid Drivers License.
• Must have proof of vehicle registration.
• Must successfully pass a criminal and a Motor Vehicle Record background check.
• Must complete a paid video training course.

LOCATION HOURS: 7:30 am – 11:30 pm (multiple 4-6 hour delivery slots will be available)

Food Rocket is an application that provides customers with on-demand 10-15-minute grocery delivery without the delivery fee or minimum order requirements from our dark stores. We are bringing a completely new grocery buying experience to our customers by replacing regular stores, and we are looking to bring on Driver Couriers that will be responsible for delivering our grocery products to our customers.
