    As a Food Runner for 1983, you will play a vital role in the success of our restaurant by ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and efficiently to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain a seamless flow of service, ensuring that all orders are accurately delivered, and our guests enjoy their dining experience to the fullest.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Assist servers by providing support during busy shifts, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
    • Ensure that all food presentations meet our quality and presentation standards.
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify orders and address any issues or special requests.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service areas and dining room.
    • Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
    • Uphold health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Be a team player and support fellow staff members to create a positive work environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • A passion for food and customer service.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 25 pounds.
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Culinary school diploma preferred.
    • Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
    • Previous experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook preferred.
