We are looking for an energetic and efficient Food Runner to join our fast-paced restaurant team. You will act as the bridge between our kitchen and waitstaff, ensuring that hot, beautifully presented meals are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Order Delivery: Transport food and beverages from the cafe to the correct persons efficiently.
Quality & Accuracy: Verify order tickets, double-check special requests or dietary restrictions, and ensure dishes meet presentation standards before serving.
Guest Service: Greet guests, answer basic menu questions, fulfill requests (e.g., extra utensils, drink refills), and handle minor concerns politely.
Kitchen Coordination: Communicate effectively with chefs and expediters to keep the service flow smooth and organized.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean work environment, including wiping tray stands, stocking dishware, and adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous food service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Stamina: Ability to walk and stand for long periods and lift or carry heavy items in various weather conditions.
Communication Skills: Clear, professional verbal communication with a hospitable and positive attitude.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to memorize seating charts and table numbers.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
