The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with a positive, guest-focused attitude. This role supports servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow, timely food delivery, and an excellent dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
Confirm orders before leaving the kitchen to ensure correct items and presentation
Assist servers by clearing plates and resetting tables as needed
Communicate guest requests or issues to servers or management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests when delivering food
Assist with restocking supplies and running side duties during downtime
Support banquet or event service as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Friendly and guest-focused attitude
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred but not required
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
