    Location: St. James Live 3220 Butner Road, Suite 240 Atlanta, GA 30331 5 miles west of ATL Airport NO DIRECT ACCESS TO MARTA, closest stop is 2 miles away at Old Fairburn Road

    Availability: Candidate must be available to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings Sunday Afternoon

    Compensation: $20 per hour

    Appearance & Uniform: Black Slacks (no jeans or leggings) with a black belt

    Black long-sleeved button-down shirt with collar

    Black non-slip shoes and black socks (tennis shoes are acceptable, but must be ALL black)

    No sagging pants

    Neatly groomed and pressed clothes

    Job Summary The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced live music environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that food orders are accurately assembled, promptly delivered, and beautifully presented to guests, all while maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Service & Delivery

    Quickly and accurately deliver food from the kitchen to guests throughout the venue, including dining areas, VIP sections, and standing-room environments.

    Confirm that all dishes match the ticket and meet quality standards before delivery.

    Provide friendly, attentive service by answering basic menu questions and ensuring guests have what they need.

    Communication & Coordination

    Serve as a liaison between the kitchen and service staff to maintain steady food flow during live performances.

    Relay any guest requests, substitutions, or issues to servers or supervisors promptly.

    Work closely with the bar, servers, and security staff to keep guest areas clear, safe, and enjoyable.

    Operational Support

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of food pickup stations, expo lines, and service areas.

    Assist with restocking supplies, preparing service ware, and clearing tables as needed.

    Follow all food safety, sanitation, and venue-specific guidelines.

    Adapt quickly to changes in crowd size or show flow.

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, or event venue preferred but not required.

    Ability to stay calm, efficient, and organized under pressure.

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Comfortable walking, lifting trays, and navigating crowded or dimly lit spaces.

    Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by show schedules.
