Responsibilities: • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes Qualifications: • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired Compensation: $10 hourly
