You will be held accountable for the restaurant's financial and operational performance. As a restaurant general manager, you will staff, interview, hire, and train teams, as well as coach, manage, and develop them. You must ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. As a restaurant general manager, you must be able to lead a team and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Oversee staffing levels by recruiting, interviewing, and training candidates for all restaurant positions • Directs and coordinates all aspects of marketing and community events, including planning and executing them • Retain proper inventory levels of food and dining items and make precise plans for anticipated sales patterns • Develop a clear plan for the restaurant that takes into account the market, local competitors, sales revenue, and expenses • Ensure the maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant Qualifications: • Previous management or supervisory experience of 2-3 years is required, preferably in the restaurant industry • Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired • This position requires a high school diploma or GED • Prior food service experience managing inventory levels, budgets, and operating costs is required • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
