As the Food Service Teacher at Primrose School of Exeter, you’ll do more than prepare meals—you’ll create a well-run, highly organized kitchen that keeps our school moving. Make a difference every day:
Prepare delicious, nutritious meals and snacks that encourage healthy eating habits
Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with strong attention to detail
Monitor and strictly adhere to all allergy and food restriction guidelines
Ensure all food and preparation areas remain nut-free and safe for all children
Follow daily menus and support food planning in collaboration with the Director
Assist with ordering, inventory, and accurate food quantity planning

Desired skills and experience:
Must meet basic requirements of local child care and food service regulatory agencies
Ability to relate positively to young children and staff
Previous experience in high-volume food preparation (serving 100+ children daily) preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed for daily tasks and safety situations
