Responsibilities: • Cook alongside kitchen staff, take the necessary safety steps and adhere to sanitary standards • Respond to complaints and issues from customers in a polite and professional manner in accordance with restaurant policy • Use specific kitchen machinery such as ice cream dispensers, blenders, and espresso machines to create customized hot and cold beverages • Welcome customers as they enter the establishment and guide them to where they should sit or stand to place an order • Clear tables, return trays to the kitchen, sweep and mop floors, wash and sanitize cooking utensils, and maintain bathrooms each day to make sure the restaurant is clean Qualifications: • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly
