This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Miramont South and Fort Collins Club Genesis Health Clubs Bar/Cafes.
We are launching a new Bar/Cafe at our South location, and have an existing Bar/Cafe at our FCC location. We are in need of someone with Bar and Restaurant experience who can create, implement, and consistently execute a vision of excellence. The right candidate is a self-starter, someone who is able to provide a premier experience in terms of service as well as a delicious consistent food and beverage experience. Our members serve as a built in clientele, but we are looking for someone who is also willing and able to market to the Fort Collins community to draw in patrons from outside our member base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the development of the business
Communicate with Regional Manager and Club Managers to support club, regional, and organizational goals and priorities.
Hire, train and schedule all staff to enable them to carry out their own duties and responsibilities
Experience in basic food prep
Plan, market and execute special events/promotions in the bar/café
Supervise the accuracy of inventory
Responsible for daily register deposits
Participate in employee meetings, review, and development
Establish and maintain professional relationships with members/guest and staff
Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner
Ensures desk and café are clean, maintained and organized at all times
Other duties and projects as assigned
Expectations:

Provide input in developing strategies to support club and café goals and objectives
Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and department
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
Job Requirements:

Experience in cash handling and credit cards

Experience managing in the food industry
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
