Job Description

Time frame:

Full time during Summer of 2024 (in-person strongly preferred)

Level:

We're looking for rising 2nd year MBA students; PhDs and post-docs

Responsibilities:

Due diligence on deal flow, sector analysis and portfolio support. The intern will function as a VC Associate supporting the investment team, with the potential to run a deal end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Strong strategy and finance skills (preferred previous investment or consulting experience); demonstrated interest in early-stage investing.
• Strong preference for domain knowledge in life sciences (eg., AI in drug development, multiomics, neuroscience, digital health).
• Domain expertise in areas related to Foothill Ventures’ portfolio viewed favorably.
• Preferred candidates who want to become VCs after graduation.
