This internship focuses on programming and administration of group fitness and personal training. Responsibilities will include marketing, programming, scheduling, risk management, training, co-teaching and running classes/special events. This internship offered as part of a degree program in exercise science or related field. The internship offers recreation benefits and a stipend. We are most interested in candidates that have: * Organizational skills and strong attention to details * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong administrative skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office). * Project management abilities. Students must be enrolled in a college/university and receiving credit to apply. Prospective students should be working toward a degree in a health related field. Course study in anatomy, exercise physiology, nutrition and biomechanics is a prerequisite. Fitness testing, personal training and class instruction experience are a plus.
